BOSTON, MA – November 2, 2016 – LearnLaunch Institute has announced the theme of its 5th Annual Across Boundaries Conference, “Personalizing Pathways to Learning and Careers”. The premier edtech conference in the Northeast, Across Boundaries brings together individuals focused on driving innovation to transform learning and increase student achievement.
Cosponsored by MIT’s Office of Digital Learning, the conference will be held on February 2 and 3, 2017 at Boston’s Hynes Convention Center, and highlight the ways educators, education administrators, entrepreneurs, investors, education companies, and technology innovators from New England and beyond are working together to create education for the 21st century.
Keynotes will be delivered by Tom VanderArk, Author & CEO, GettingSmart; Joseph Aoun, President, Northeastern University; Erik Brynjolfsson, MIT Sloan School and Director of the MIT Initiative on the Digital Economy. They will be focused on the key challenges students and educators face and on the possibility and pitfalls of new digital technologies as educators, investors and entrepreneurs strive to increase student readiness for careers and civic life.
The LearnLaunch Across Boundaries Agenda will address such topics as:
