Jane Helms is an experienced sales person, marketing executive, writer, and editor. Her whole career has been in college publishing, with an emphasis on the humanities. She is passionate about the power of education to transform lives and committed to helping instructors and students succeed. Jane served as the Associate Director of Marketing for Bedford/St. Martin’s, a very successful higher ed publisher, for 11 years. That position that required sales skills, market research and analysis, integrated marketing expertise across channels, market development proficiency, and leadership. Over that time, the company’s revenues grew 100%, and Jane was a huge part of that success. After that, Jane worked as a senior sales representative for Macmillan Learning, one of the top 5 educational publishers, for 2 years. In this role, she sold technology solutions and books across the curriculum and helped instructors and students implement new technology. In 2016 she was the #3 sales rep in the US and Canada.
