Dan is a customer-focused leader who builds and leads sales, marketing, and business development organizations that have consistently won in the marketplace. He has developed high performance teams across multiple cultures and created substantial value in early-stage and mature companies. A founding executive at iBasis, a transformative Internet-based telecom company, he grew the company to industry leadership with revenues over $1Billion. At Arbinet, he helped engineer the sale of the company after leading a restructuring effort. Dan is active as a mentor to new and emerging companies and as an advisor and consultant to established enterprises. His focus is on market entry, revenue generation, accelerating growth and performance improvement. Dan is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program and received a MBA and MA in Latin American Studies from the University of Chicago.
