Jay Dia is the founder of Boxconcepts Consulting, a marketing management and business financials consultancy that leverages his expertise in product line management and marketing, financial analysis and management, market assessment and business plan development, 409 valuation analysis, and startup operations.
Jay has worked with a number of different companies in different industries and in various stages of development to achieve success in the marketplace. He has helped companies prepare for fundraising, analyzed market opportunities and competitive threats, launched products / services, established marketing programs and infrastructures, developed business processes and managed operations, and conducted 409A stock option valuation analyses.
On behalf of investor clients, Jay has conducted technical and market due diligence, and Intellectual Property (IP) and Freedom to Operate (FTO) analyses. He has also performed company valuation analyses, and managed company asset sales and liquidity events.
Jay has held senior product management, marketing management, operations and sales engineering, and network analysis and design positions with startups and established companies. He has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University, an MS in Computer Science and Information Systems from Boston University, and has had significant coursework in finance and accounting.
