Paula Olson joined Frontline Education in January 2017 as Chief Financial Officer. She is responsible for the finance and accounting functions as well as legal affairs.
Previously, Paula spent 9 years as Managing Director and Head of Education Technology & Services, Investment Banking at Wells Fargo. She launched the education technology practice and established Wells Fargo as one of the most active education investment banking practices on Wall Street.
Prior to Wells Fargo, Paula served as a Vice President in Consumer and Retail Investment Banking at Banc of America Securities, where she helped build the Restaurant Investment Banking practice, leading Banc of America to the number one rank among ‘bulge bracket’ firms in restaurant investment banking. Paula’s previous experience includes work as a professional accountant at Bank of Boston.
Paula spent time as a Peace Corps volunteer in Zimbabwe where she established the first center for urban businesses, serving 800+ businesses and entrepreneurs in the inaugural year.
Paula earned her Bachelor of Science in Finance at Providence College, her MBA from Columbia Business School and a Masters in International Affairs from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs.
