LearnLaunch Accelerator II is proud to announce the addition of four Venture Partners and one General Partner.
LearnLaunch Accelerator welcomes Matt Rubins, an active angel investor, educator, and entrepreneur focused on the education space, Ann Brady, a serial C-level executive & angel investor with over twenty years of experience in varied industries and dozens of technology startups, Richard Varn, Distinguished Presidential Appointee with Educational Testing Service (ETS) who is part of the Strategy, Marketing, and Growth team, and Kirby Salerno, a sales and marketing leader with nearly two decades of experience in the EdTech industry. As Venture Partners at LearnLaunch Accelerator, Matt, Ann, Richard, and Kirby use their years of experience in the edtech and startup space to provide personalized mentorship, support, and strategic guidance to the Accelerator’s portfolio.
The LearnLaunch Accelerator also welcomes Colin Magee as its new Entrepreneur in Residence. Colin has been instrumental to many Accelerator portfolio companies over the past year and has worked with Education Modified, Quality Interactions, and BlocksCAD on product strategy. Colin brings deep experience in Product Management and led Compass Learning through its acquisition by Edgenuity. As the Accelerator’s EIR, Colin will work closely throughout the program with companies on their product roadmap and strategy.
In addition, the Accelerator is thrilled to name Tetyana Astashkina as a General Partner. Previously, Tetyana served as an Accelerator Venture Partner, where she was a mentor to the various startups in the program. With her promotion to General Partner, Tetyana is responsible for managing the Accelerator’s day-to-day business activities, including fundraising, portfolio development, and investor relations.
Before coming to LearnLaunch, Tetyana served as a principal at btov Partners in Europe. At btov, Tetyana directed its international markets operations, co-managed its fund activities, and had many other investment-related responsibilities. Tetyana’s investment portfolio is wide-ranging, including clean technologies such as wind tech, bio tech, and renewable energies, and Internet-run consumer-focused businesses such as e-health, travel, and fashion.
LearnLaunch is thrilled to have Tetyana serve as General Partner and welcomes her deep experience in Venture Capital and early-stage ventures. Tetyana will work directly with the team to maximize the value LearnLaunch adds to its investments.
