What has twenty-six edtech startups, over a hundred teachers, and bottomless tortilla chips and salsa?

It has to be the LearnLaunch Summer Showcase!

The Summer Showcase has quickly become our favorite event of the summer. Thanks to our partnership with the November Learning Building Learning Communities conference, we’re able to bring both entrepreneurs and K-12 teachers into our space to meet, mingle, and try out the latest technologies serving the education sector.

This year’s Summer Showcase featured a broad range of startups. We saw an AI-driven college recommendation platform for high school students, an app that uses machine learning with built-in computer cameras to infer levels of student engagement, and a virtual reality science lab emulator designed by teenagers. And that was just one corner of one of the rooms open for demos!

One reason we like the Summer Showcase so much is that it’s a rare opportunity for educators to see the very newest edtech startups in one place, at a time that fits into a teacher’s schedule, and completely for free.

We’re looking forward to building more opportunities for educators and entrepreneurs to meet and learn from each other over the course of the year.

Until then, check out our Facebook page for photos of the 2018 Summer Showcase and watch the LearnLaunch events calendar for more chances to stay up on the latest in legal, marketing, research, and more for the education sector.
